Make a Battleship Math game in three steps
Choose 2 or 4 players
Each player gets their own page with a different set of times tables — nobody shares a full table with anyone else.
Set paper size
Letter or A4 — each sheet folds along a dashed line to hide each player's grid from opponents.

Get a print-ready PDF with full instructions — grab a pencil and start playing in minutes.
Each player gets a private Question Key and Ship Grid
Every player's page has two grids: a hidden Question Key with their own times-tables facts, and a blank Ship Grid for drawing four ships (two size 2, one size 3, one size 4). Fold the sheet along the dashed line so nobody can peek at an opponent's grid — no extra pieces or dice needed.
Call a coordinate, answer a question, sink a ship
Players take turns calling a coordinate like "B4." A miss ends the turn. A hit means answering the times-tables question at that coordinate from the opponent's own Question Key — answer correctly and it's a confirmed hit, answer wrong and it's a miss. First to sink every ship in the opposing fleet wins.
12 times tables, fairly split between players
Every game draws from tables 2 through 13 (skipping the too-easy 1s), split into non-overlapping sets of 3 tables per player. No two players ever share a full table, so nobody can read off an opponent's answers from their own sheet — every game stays a genuine test of tables knowledge.

Battleship Math FAQ
Is this printable battleship game really free?
Yes. You can download a free sample Battleship Math game with no signup required, and every new ClassPrint account gets 15 free tokens to generate your own game — no card required.
How do you play Battleship Math?
Each player gets their own page with a hidden Question Key grid and a Ship Grid, split by a fold line for privacy. Players take turns calling coordinates like "B4." A hit means answering a times-tables question correctly to score it — first to sink every opposing ship wins.
How many players can play?
2 or 4 players. Each player gets 3 times tables from 2 through 13 (skipping the too-easy 1s table), and every player's set is different so nobody can read off an opponent's answers.
Do I need anything else to play?
Just a pencil. The PDF includes full instructions, each player's Question Key and Ship Grid, and everything needed to fold the sheet into a privacy screen — no extra pieces or dice required.
