A roomy grid with letters you can read
Each word search uses a 10 × 10 to 12 × 12 grid on its own page, so the letters stay big: around 23pt on Easy, 21pt on Medium and 19pt on Hard on Letter paper, and slightly larger on A4. The grid has bold black letters and thick, dark lines, and the word list underneath is printed large too, with just 10 to 12 words so the page never feels crowded.
Three levels, one comfortable page
Easy hides 10 words across and down only. Medium has 11 words and adds diagonals. Hard has 12 words that can run in any direction, including backwards. Whichever you choose, the page stays calm and uncluttered.
